We have moved our D-Link DWA-160 from one computer to another; however, the new computer is not recognizing the D-Link. My husband doesn't remember if software was needed initially to set it up? He thought he just needed to connect it to the CPU. We are using Windows 7 (the other computer was not); is there a compatability issue??? Any help would be appreciated.

Try using different usb ports on your computer. If it doesn't work then try hooking up your iphone to another computer. If it still isn't being recognized then try a different IPHONE USB cable. If your Iphone still can't be recognized after all of this then read the article at the link below. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538
Also try restoring your iphone to factory defaults if necessary. This is a last resort. If your iphone still won't get recognized by the computer then it could be the connection on the Iphone is defective and in that case replacing the phone is the only option.
