    i want to downgrade my dell inspiron 1525 from vista to windows xp i need the drivers for xp where could i get it

FIRST TURN ON THE SPEAKERS AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE ON AND TURNED UP LOUD. IF STILL NO SOUND, THEN CLICK THIS LINK TO THE DRIVER FOR THIS LAPTOP AND REINSTALL THE DRIVERS FOR THE SOUND CARD.

THAT SHOULD WORK....IF NOT CONTACT DELL SUPPORT OR REINSTALL A NEW SOUND CARD AND DRIVER.

then select u r Model or select u r Tag no
Select any one of the os Winxp or Vista
Here is all the drivers are ready for u
select Download
then download all the drivers & Install it.

You can download the installation drivers from manufacturer's website by clicking this link
  • On the page which opens, select the operating system of your computer (Windows Xp) from the drop-down menu Then download the required drivers.
  • The list of available drivers will load only after selecting the operating system of the computer.

If your laptop is still under warranty, installing WinXP will void the warranty. It's very tricky. I'd suggest getting another PC with Internet connection and search and download drivers as needed for your 1525. Good luck.

Follow this simple Installation step to downgrade Windows Vista to Windows XP.
a. You have to prepare SATA Driver on your USB Disk. You may get the Dell Inspiron 1525 SATA HERE
b. You have to prepare Dell Inspiron 1525 Wireless Card Driver as well known as Broadcom BCM 4311.
c. For Dell Inspiron 1525 Webcam you have to get Creative Labs Webcam that you may get it in the Windows Update Sites.
d. Get Marvell Yukon 88E8040 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller drivers.
