Hi,

Remove the cartridges
Clean the contacts on cartridges with lint free cloth ( the golden contacts or electrical contacts )
Install the cartridge back in printer
Disconnect the USB cable of the printer and after 30 seconds re-connect

Click on the link to fix the spooler issue - Spooler Fix utility

I hope this will resolve the issue.

Why blinking yellow light and green light infront of cpu

Check if the signal cable for the display is connected and whether there is any kink that may break a wire inside the cable. If the circuit for display inside the computer is broken, most of the time you would hear beeping when turning on the computer.

I have a blue vertical flashing light showing just above the Dell emblem. In the past there has been a solid light. I have checked on OpenManager which indicates all is well but I do not like unexplained...

Great thanks,

That's just a system indicator flash. Solid blue means on and normal, blinking means someone either turned on the system indicator in the management software or bumped the indicator switch on the back of the server. This was designed to make easier transitions from back to front when working with multiple servers in a rack. To turn the indicator off, just go to the back of the server and find the Ethernet and usb ports that are together. If the usb is the bottom and Ethernet port is the top then just to the right you should see a small blue blinking light and a button, pushing the button wil turn the blinking off.

Again, no worries this is just a "locator beacon" not an error message, if the light ever blinks yellow then you have an issue.

Hope this helps FixYa,

Chris

The error light came on and I don't know whats wrong

Hi,
What is the error light
Step one: Identify the specific printing problemIf your All-in-One won't print, first you need to identify the specific issue or symptom. What exactly happens when you try to print? Do you see an error message or do the lights on the printer start blinking (flashing)? Does nothing happen at all? Follow these steps to identify your unique printing issue before troubleshooting. If you can identify a symptom based one of these methods, make a note of the symptom, and then continue to the next step. Method one: Look for blinking lightsLook for any blinking lights on the front or top of the All-in-One. Sometimes just the power button can blink, or a small indicator light on the printer can blink, or a combination of buttons can blink all at once. Example indicator lights on the printer Attention lights Wireless indicator light Cartridge lights Error Lights c01890693.gif c01890694.gif c01890695.gif c01890697.gif c01890698.gif c01890699.gif c01890700.gif c01890701.gif Example blinking lights patterns
c01890702.gif Method two: Look for error messagesPrinting problems are usually accompanied by an error message of some sort, usually on the control panel display (if your All-in-One has one), or on your computer monitor. Check both places for specific error messages. Error messages might or might not be accompanied by an icon representing the error. Following are some examples of error messages you might see on your computer screen or control panel display.
  • c01890703.gif 'Printer is Offline '
  • c01890704.gif 'Align Cartridges '
  • c01890705.gif 'E ' (error condition)
  • c01890706.gif 'Document(s) pending ' (Roll your mouse over the product icon in the lower-right corner of the computer screen.)

My printer shows ayellow light - toner save-and prints faint

You have change the toner save mode first, in the printing window you have a properties options in that you change the mode of printing, if you turn off the toner saver mode in the properties option you can print the documents in normal, dark printing formats. Thank you.
