I believe your problem is going to be defective filter capacitors in power supply. Classic symptom of taking longer and longer to come on. Will get progressively worse over time then wont come on at all. No need to replace the whole power supply board. Most knowledgeable repair shops will replace the swollen capacitors or you can try yourself if you are familiar with electronics.

The defective capacitors will usually swell up out the top making them easy to spot

Will start soon as I turn the switch on not by pushing start button starter seem like it's stuck do you think it is the switch

Responsible for starting the engine when you turn the key or push the start button, the starter draws its power from the battery. It takes that energy to turnover the engine and start the vehicle. Simply put, without a properly functioningstarter, you're going nowhere.

Samsung GT-E1205Y phone will not turn on despite full battery. any ideas as to why?

I had this problem too. You have to hold the reset buttons (lock & volume up) for longer than you would think. Hold the reset buttons until it turns on. I'd say it takes at least 10 long seconds. That worked for me, hope it works for you too.

You may not want to hear this but it may have a bad battery or power switch requiring professional repair

Per magnavox 37mf231d I switched tcon board, and put an older main board that I had laying around, now the tv tries to turn on, there is a background light for about 5 seconds and then it shuts off.

Hello, I think it either had a bad back light board or one of the florescent tubes in the display has gone bad. As these sets get older, I see more of the florescent tubes going bad. I think there are 9 in that set, and all it takes is one of them to go out to cause the set to shut down. You may also look for a bad connection on the transformers on the back light board.....thanks, let me know

When we turn this tv on it takes 5times before it turns on and the picture is bad for 5 minutes then its ok

Go to the menu setting of your TV. Check the standby setting and see if it is set to immediately come on. (I can't think of the term for this setting but it should be self explanatory).

Maytag Performa Electric dryer timer is bad

Look up an appliance parts store in your area. If there is no appliance store, try www.searspartsdirect.com.

If it does not turn off during timed dry then it for sure has gone bad. If it takes a while on timed dry then it is most likely that your thermal fuse/ valve coils are going bad.

Why does my bike only start in gears and takes off automatically?

I would start with the neutral switch in the transmission. it sounds like the switch is bad and it thinks it is in neutral when it is actually in gear. If it takes off automatically as well, I think the problem does lie there, for the clutch is bad as well. I would take to service shop for a job of this magnitude.

Sorry jonjon, i think we got disconnected. Is your problem resolved yet? I think it could possibly be convergence ic's that are bad or at least have cold solder joints or fractured solder connections...I hope this helps you out. Thanks...Jay
