I sounds to me like the compressor is overheating. There is an overload on the compressor itself. Follow the wires where they go into the compressor. There will be a black wire going from the power cord to the overload. These can be purchased at appliance parts stores. Make sure there is no dirt build up on condenser coils or a kink in the tubing.
This is usually caused by ethier the fan is touching the side of the housing, or
There is something stuck in the fan housing. Items can fall down the vents easily
Becoming trapped. Paper is great for making clicking noises, my customers complain
About clicking or a rattle like sound I usually find a small piece of cardboard or paper
In the fan or duct work. Ethier way you will probably have to remove the fan, or access
The duct work in some fashion to find the cause of your noise.:-)
Don't do anything your fan is just fine it's just running faster to keep it cool when you hear a clicking sound at high speed then you should be worried about it cause your fan is failing and should be replaced
You should try taking the side of the case off and run your blu-ray and see if its the fan if so I would get in touch with pny it maybe a bad fan if you have the sava you can upgrade the fan to a non noisey one.
For what it is worth. I had this problem twice and both times the compressor ad to be replaced. Ton this day it sounds like a pin pong game whenever it runs. No it is not the fans or the ice maker.
