Downloading games on ps3?

Unfortunately at this moment in time it isnt possible to download pictures from the internet direct onto your PS3.
You can however download pictures on your PC or Laptop to a USD stick and transfer the pictures that way.
When you plug a USB Memory stick into your PS3 it should allow you to copy across to your PS3's harddrive.

Hey there! A possible simple solution to this is going to the Playstation support site or click this link. Then download the update that you need and put it onto a thumbdrive and insert it into your PS3, and use your PS3 to update through the update on your thumbdrive.

SAFE MODE:

1. Place you finger on the on/off sensor leave it their untill you console turns off then take you finger off the sensor.

2. Place your finger back on the on/off sensor leave it their until you hear 2 consecutive beeps then take your finger off.

3. Once the safe mode screen comes on select the option PS3 SYSTEM RESTORE.

NOTE: A PS3 system restore will delete all data except the OS. I recommend backing up your console onto a USB flash drive if possible.

Your HARD DRIVE (aka: Hard Disk), located on the left side of the unit, has crashed. You will need to replace the HD.

When you replace your hard drive, you will need to have the latest firmware on a

usb stick. Download the firmware from the playstation official website onto a usb

stick. Once prompted by your system you will need to insert the usb stick into the

PS3. Good luck..

You will need 2.5" Sata Hard Drive.

You Cant copy ps3 games..only download demo dlc and minis..

Test you console with another harddisk to see if it detects the harddisk.

Also try a low level format on the harddisk with a pc so to ensure that there
is nothing left on the harddisk, when reinserted in the ps3, the ps3 needs
to fomat the harddisk, quick fomat will be enoug.
If the original harddisk is still not detected, then your harddisk is defective
and needs to be replaced, if the console also doen't detect the new harddisk then your ps3 needs to return to Sony because the sata controller on the motherboard of your ps3 is defective.

The Ps3 harddisk is alright . I heard if u use a cleaning kit the systems starts reading again

What happens is that when I get onto a software they say an update is necessary. I confirm "OK" then the PS3 exits to the XMB screen to download the update, but then it stops downloading after 4%-30%.

Take out the HD of fat, use a adapter to get the info from your HD onto your laptop. Put the HD back in.

Trade in your ps3, take out the HD, put the files you want back into the HD. Put the HD back in the slim.

i think there are many ways to do this but i think one way is to get a computer usb cable andplug the usb end in the ps3 and the other weird box shaped end into the computer. or i think you can maybe download it onto a flash drive andthen you can plug the flash drive into the ps3. or you may be able to just get interne t connection for your ps3< and maybe you can download it from the store.
