Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
I have heard you can download games onto the harddisk of your ps3, is that possible and how do you do it if so.
Well, with an internet connection you can download items from the playstation-store. You'll need a modem to do that. It'll ask for an update and to create an account and things like that. Also If you have a umd you can download items to that from your computer and transfer them to you ps3.

1. Place you finger on the on/off sensor leave it their untill you console turns off then take you finger off the sensor.
2. Place your finger back on the on/off sensor leave it their until you hear 2 consecutive beeps then take your finger off.
3. Once the safe mode screen comes on select the option PS3 SYSTEM RESTORE.
NOTE: A PS3 system restore will delete all data except the OS. I recommend backing up your console onto a USB flash drive if possible.

When you replace your hard drive, you
will need to have the latest firmware on a
usb stick. Download the firmware from
the playstation official website onto a usb
stick. Once prompted by your system you
will need to insert the usb stick into the
PS3. Good luck..
You will need 2.5" Sata Hard Drive.
