Hello. The ps3 recently started to play up when trying to start any game but with a bit of perserverance it would begin to play. It eventually would not load at all. I bought a blue ray disc cleaner and that loaded that. It seemed to do its job judging by the on screen procedures, however when loading a games disc it still would not load. Have you got any idea as to a solution? With thanks.

When i put a disc in the disc icon doesnt show up and i have already tried cleaning it but that didnt work how do i fix it?

The Playstation 3 is a wonderful video game console, however, with heavy usage, the laser does eventually burn out. The first signs of the laser starting to burn out is that your game will start freezing during game play. Eventually the game will stop reading altogether (even though movies sometimes still work). Eventually movies will stop working and the whole laser will eventually die.

PS3 start-up problem

Hello. Try swapping out the hard drive. This is fairly common and I have seen the same symptoms before. Just pull out the hard drive and buy one just like it or even upgrade a bit up to 100GB, and replace it. When you start it up again, it will prompt you to reformat the hard drive. Do that na dit should start up just fine. Thanks!!
