Thank you very much! ????
I am not sure where you think you are posting, but to leave a comment like that is unlikely to get a favorable response.
This is an independant help site, this site has nothing to do with Lexmark, and so the thank you very much comment is unneeded, and unwelcome.
You may have paper stuck inside the machine, where you cant see it, If you had a jam, and pulled the parer out, some may have stuck inside, or you may have damaged something pulling it out.
You may have to take the printer apart to check

Though you may be a "Guru" on this site, rcw1962, your response will keep people away from this site. Since when has being polite "unneeded and unwelcome"?

The original post was not meant , or was not posted as a polite comment.
To say Thank you very much !, with the eclamation mark, is a very unpolite comment, if it was not meant that way, then people need to understand what they are writing, and be more carefull with the way they phrase comments.
The original post was worded as thank you lexmark for nothing.
90% of questions asked are pointless and a waste of time. If people had a little visit to the makers website, clicked on support, they would find everything they needed within 30 seconds.
Most sites also have FAQ and knowlegde databases for almost every fault.
I am quite happy to help anybody with their problems, but sometimes they have obviously not spent even a couple of minutes trying to help themselves, just clicked on the first link in google, and quite often word there questions as if we are the people who are at fault.
I want a driver for this NOW, this is not working anymore, i upgraded to windows 7 without checking for compatability, and i expect you to fix it NOW...
This is not a nice way to ask

202 paper jam, but no paper is in the printer.

The printer don't pick-up the paper, the cause is dirty roller. You can clean pick-up roller with a wet cloth (water is enough or alcool).

202 paperjam open rear door. My printer did have a paper jam and we removed all the paper we could find, but that message won't go away and it hasn't worked since! HELP!

Hello and Welcome to FixYa

Start by following the steps below to get the paper out from the machine.
  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
  3. Also open the back cover of the printer if this model has one.
  4. Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
  5. If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it away from light/ sun light to avoid damaging it.
  6. If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly. The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
  7. If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper. Don't force anything, though. Do this step especially if the jam message comes up repeatedly without any obvious paper jam, there may be a small tear of paper inside.
  8. Ones the printer is free of paper Replace the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.
  9. If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.
  10. see alternative if the problem is still not solved.

alternative :
Load a piece of thick paper, for example photo paper and press the resume button (may be diffrent button on diffrent models) a few times to the printer picks up the paper and puts it through the machine.

Advanced

If that doesn't help then you would have to start taking apart the machine to find the jammed paper and remove it, its not something a just anyone should do unless you have experience.

you may have to take the machine to a repairer to get the jammed paper bits out of the machine, if you don't see paper jammed in the machine it does not mean that there wouldn't be a paper jam somewhere in the unit along the paper path. Some of the switches or sensors might have gotten stuck.

Lexmark T630 Error message "Paper Jam Remove rear cover." No paper jam...

Open the rear, there is one of the paper sensor actuators stuck. They are spring loaded and should spring back when pushed out by the paper.

202 pam jam

usually it means that a sensor in your fuser is bad. If you have a P.M. Kit replaced the fuser and clean the printer.

but before you do, make sure that you have cleared all jams, including in the fuser.

Its probably time for a Preventive Maintanence

Repeated, Unexplained Paper Jams With Little or No Damage to the Paper ID:ENUS5286 null.gif null.gif null.gif
IMPORTANT: The printer should rest on a surface that is flat, level, and uniform. This is for safety reasons as well as for paper feed reliability. In the bottom left corner on the front of the printer, as well as on the duplexer and each paper feed option apart from the 2000-sheet feeder, there is a shaft that rotates as the main drive motor in the printer operates. The purpose of this shaft (called the Power Take Off shaft) is to turn the pass-through rollers in the option below. The Power Take Off (PTO) shaft rotates during the printer's POR as well as any time the main drive motor turns, including while paper is feeding from any source and when the toner is agitated in the cartridge.
If the printer is on an uneven or non-level surface, the PTO shaft may not make full contact with the bevel gear on the lower options.
If the printer is on a surface that is not uniform (such as a carpet or foam padding), the PTO shaft on the lowest option may catch or bind, causing the paper feed operation to slow or stop completely.
In either case, repeated and unexplained paper jams (with little or no damage to the paper) may occur. The paper jam is due to the increased amount of time it takes the paper to feed through the path because the PTO shaft is bound or caught on the surface below, or is slipping on the bevel gear.
NOTE: This is not a printer defect or failure although it may result in a broken or stripped PTO shaft.
