The top line of my screen is gone. When I am on the internet, I can't go back or forward, or the x to close that screen. I have to go to task manager and close it out. how can I fix it.

If you have Windows
Left-click START or the round blue Windows icon at bottom left of screen.
Or press the Windows key at bottom row of keyboard.
Left-click the white right-arrow symbol next to "Shut down".
This drops down a choice menu.
Left-click "Restart".
Now sit back and watch the magic happen.

Otherwise to shut down click the Shut down bar in Start window.

Or in case the PC freezes / hangs press "Power" button.

If an application hangs, stopping your computer, you can also try close down the app in "Task Manager".
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del
Wait until the Task Manager options window pops up on screen.
Left-click "Start task Manager"
Left-click "Applications"
Shut down the app then exit TM.
Reboot to refresh memory.

This can be one of two things. The first is unlikely, the display cable has become loose. The second is more possible, the screen has gone bad and needs to be replaced.

hit f11 should bring the bar back.

Click on the "X" icon in the top right hand side of the screen to close the browser. If the browser is not responding hold Ctrl+Alt+Del to open windows task manager from there you can end the process.

Press your "control" "alt" and "delete key at the same time on your keyboard. control is the key that says "ctrl" on it on the bottom left side and "alt" is near it. When you press all three keys at the same time, you will see a prompt that asks if you want to open "windows task manager". choose "yes" or click on "windows task manager".

Click on the tab that says "applications" at the top. Then click on the file that was stuck during forwarding and then click the "end" box at the bottom. This will get rid of the problem. If you can't figure out how to get into the task manager, then just press the power button the pc and hold it in until it turns off all the way. That will also get rid of the file on the screen.

Click on the x in the upper right hand corner

It's a long shot but try this:

1) Restart your PC
2) Logon and wait for the black screen to appear
3) Make sure your PC should be able to connect to the internet (black screen does not appear to affect this)
4) Press the CTRL, ALT and DEL keys simultaneously
5) When prompted, Click Start Task Manager
6) In Task Manager Click on the Application Tab
7) Next Click New Task
8) Now enter the command:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" "http://info.prevx.com/download.asp?GRAB=BLACKSCREENFIX"
Note this command assumes that you are using internet explorer as your browser, if not substitute your browser path and file details for those of iexplore.exe or use the Browser option of Task manager to locate it.
9) Click OK and your browser should start up and begin the download process
10) When prompted for the download Click run, the black screen fix program will download and run to automatically fix the issue.
11) Now restart your PC and the black screen problem will hopefully be gone.

You lost your navigation tool bar. Not to worry. open the firefox. Click view (3 rd button on the second line at the top). Then Click on toolbars. On the pop out that opens on the side, click on the Navigation tool bar, and you will see a tick mark appear on the left hand side. You will now have your address bar, forward, back etc.as earlier.

if it is happening in the sense press F11..it will get clear....Hope this will get clear....Thank you...

You need to go to system tools and then choose task manager and you will be able to close all active programs on the phone. By doing this daily it will also increase your battery life.
