Intel Computers & Internet - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

You can often successfully recover deleted files from a PC, phone or camera memory card or USB Memory stick, it just depends on what's happened since the files were deleted.
When you delete files the data itself isn't deleted, just the index entry that says where the data for those files is located. The space containing the deleted files is also now marked as free space so it is available to the system for any new files to be written there instead.

If the deleted files are on a memory card or USB memory stick, just don't save any new files to it.

One of the easiest ways to see if you can recover deleted files is to try some file recovery software. Recommended asoftech data recovery as it saved my life many times. download asoftech data recovery from

you find out its CHIPSET then you look on the Intel ARK for cpu compatible with that chipset you do that by searching for your current cpu. You can also look at the boards AA number see link. this will tell you the mainboard number, ie the D33025 is NOT the board number but it does suggest the chipset is s series G33. In most cases you cannot simply fit the most powerful cpu listed because designers and builders of boards can RESTRICT a board by the MEMORY speeds allowed and the overall WATTAGE of the cpu. Also your BIOS needs to be NEW enough(ie a date after the release date for that specific cpu. So to sum up your cpu must match your memory dimms speed and the wattage must be kept to the values used for designing the board and the BIOS still needs the cpu number in its list to be able to detct it and configure it correctly it is NOT the case that if it FITS the socket then its ok to try it, it is NOT ok to try it.

Processors themselves do not have drivers - they are self-contained computing devices. It is the mainboard that they are installed in that has a chipset and peripheral devices (LAN, Audio, Video, Bluetooth, Wifi, etc.) that requires drivers. So, if you need drivers, you need to tell us what mainboard you have - the manufacturer, model number, and revision, as well as what driver(s) you need. Additionally, the Operating system installed will determine what drivers you need, so that needs to be included as well (Windows XP/7/10)

Download VLC media player or DivX. I use VLC media player as my media and audio player. It is the best free program out there. DivX can also play .mkv files.

The processor has nothing to do with your sound drivers. What you need are the integrated audio drivers for your computer's motherboard. Realtech make drivers for many different brand motherboards. Go to the computer manufacturer's website and download the audio drivers for your make & model computer. They also may be on a CD that came with your computer if it is older, although many companies don't do that any more.
