Go to setting then select date & then time change then and save the settintg.

Press the HOME button to bring up the home screen. Select the toolbox, then select the "A" icon.

Do you mean a DSC H5? If so, at the top of the control button there should be a symbol that looks like a lightning bolt with a arrow on the bottom. Push that to go through the various flash settings.

Inside the camera is a button battery used for storing settings. It most likely is dead. It takes soldering to remove it.

If the camera works in all other respects, then that has something to do with the flash setting or some other setting in the menus. But this sounds like something with the flash directly.

Try also to reset all the menu setting back to what it was for the factory. Most digital cameras have a setting for that, and usually is something like "RESET ALL" or something close to that.

If nothing works, then the camera needs repair. This is an error to do with the flash only, it appears. So some of the internal parts could be weak, thus causing the error.

Check your settings, if you are in the North America it should be NTSC if Europe PAL.
