SOURCE: False Paper Jam Error
Make sure the paper tray guides are set against the paper more likely to be the back guide not pushing the paper to the front of the tray. If you have the guides set correctly then place one sheet of paper in the tray and blot some methylated spirits on the leading edge along the page width and close the tray and try printing something.
You will have a jam repeat process 3 or 4 times then open tray and remove paper. Where you soaked the spirits into the paper there should be a grubby mark where the feed roller has rubbed and cleaned. Wipe the tray dry and put fresh paper in then hopefully you will now be able to print. If you cannot then the likely thing is that the paper feed pickup spindle is broken and will need replacing.
Hope this helps you and please rate me
Thanks J
Try connecting the printer via the USB port on either one of the computers. Then test if the machine prints fine then likely possibility is that the Network interface card is faulty remove the network card and install in a different slot and test. If the same thing happens then reinstall the drivers and test.
Hope this helps
Thanks J

check front and rear paper sensors. Maybe they damaged. Clean optical sensors.
SOURCE: My LaserJet4250n Printer keeps printing a page
I think what is happening is when you get the error, the printer automaticaly reprints the page it was on when it got an error condition that makes it think it didn't print the page correctly. The clearing paper path message comes up after it thinks it had a jam. Displaying load plain paper could be because either the printer is not configed for the correct type of paper you have in the tray you are trying to prin form(push the green check button, arrow downt to paper handling and see what your trays are set for.) Also there is a blue switch on the tay(looking for front of tray it will be on the right hand side of tray rail) the switch says standard or custom. The switch should be in the standard position.
Are you getting any errors or jams, if so, tell me what they are.
SOURCE: HP 4200 printer paper jam. No paper is jammed
check this out....when the printer reports the jam, open the paper tray very carefully and slowly.
Has the paper moved at all forward? Has it moved like 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch out of the tray?
If so, you probabaly need a torque limiter, no tools, $10 or so and a very very easy fix.
POBCM is very correct when he points out that the block/stop in the back of the tray moves when the tray is closed with too much force and this is the #1 cause most of the time.
You may see a "41.3" code displayed if the block is not up to the back of the paper and the paper is not all the way forward in the trays, and under the two metal clips at the front of the tray.
Please print printer settings configuration page. The page will explain the printer menus and change values. Menus are represented by Continue, Ready/Data, Toner Low and Load/Remove Paper light sequences. Menu Items and their values are indicated by Paper Jam and Error Light sequences
Here are the instructions to do that:
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Open the front access cover
3. Press and hold the red Stop button while powering up the printer.
4. The lights should cycle, release it when the light stops cycling.
5. Close the cover once the ! light displays
6. The lights should cycle again.
7. Then press the Continue button.
8. This should print a Printer Diagnostics page.
9. On the Printer diagnostic page, Use the Utilities menu to troubleshoot printer problems
- Return the printer settings to factory default values.
- Sometimes resetting the printer to the original settings solves formatting problems.
- All menu items are reset to the factory default values except:
- All settings in the Parallel menu, Network menu, and USB menu.
- All downloaded resources (fonts, macros, and symbol sets) in printer memory (RAM) are deleted.
- Resources in flash memory are unaffected.
10. Please locate the value that would say "Factory Defaults".
11. We would need to follow the exact light sequence that you see for the "Factory Defaults".
12. Press and release the Cancel button to advance through the menus and the menu items to the one we would need.
13. Press and hold the Continue button until all the lights cycle to save the function/value.
14. Restart the printer.
