I have a MIELE with a " F84 " falt code please help Thanks Phil

You should phone Miele, that is disgraceful. Tell them you want a factory technician to visit. Whomever you got isn't a 'proper' technician, plus you have expended money for items you didn't need replacing. With my Miele washing machine, the engineer attached his laptop to it to diagnose faults.

The only thing I have found is making sure the salt cover is tight. These machines go through a self test procedure and if sometimes fails, it aborts the program.

\015\012Make sure the impeller (visible after you remove drain pump cover) is clean and spins ok. It will have a little resistance as you spin with your finger.\015\012

F84 Slide shutter positioning fault

Some ranges have fuses that have to be replaced if blown.

There is a slide valve in the machine that directs the water to the upper and lower arms. The valve can become plugged or the signal to it can become lost. The machine is not an easy one to repair and you can do more harm than good if you don't know what you are doing. To give you an idea, you have to remove the machine and turn it upside down to work on it.

First thing you can try is to shut off the power to the dishwasher. If that doesn't do it then you have a bad board.

On that model to save water and energy water is sent to bottom and middle spray arms alternately. This is done via a shutter in the circulation motor. F84 mean this shutter is jammed,Most likely with debris,But is possible motor is faulty
The motor will have to be removed be sure

In most cases this means the circ pump is faulty - suggest calling a Miele service rep
