Miele G848I Dishwasher Questions & Answers
How do I change a Miele heater pressure swith
first, make sure you need one. if you start a cycle, and the machine drains for 30 seconds, starts to fill, and then faults out on intake drain fault, you dont need a hps, your circulation pump is stuck. miele will send you a "hook tool" used for freeing the pump. if your situation is not as I have described above, and your machine is faulting out later in the cycle, or will not heat, this is how you change the hps.uninstall the dishwasher. **** up all the water from the sump under the triple filter. lay the machine on its side. remove the 4 phillips head screws that hold the bottom pan on. the hps is mounted to the circ pump at the back of the machine. push the locking tab in, and twist the hps a quarter turn. transfer the wires one by one to make sure they go back in the proper order. reinstall the switch. reinstall the bottom pan.

Water and drain light top right side flashes and wont run the wash cycle checked pump impella
There could be several reasons why this is happening, such as a clogged drain or a malfunctioning drain pump .
Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:
Check if the drain hose is clogged or kinked. If so, straighten it out or unclog it.
Check if the drain pump is working properly. If not, you may need to replace it
Check if the filter in your washing machine is clogged with debris. If so, clean it out .
If none of these steps work, it may be best to contact a professional for further assistance.

Dishwasher - Miele g858scvi plus
Miele dishwashers, including the G858SCVI Plus model, typically do not have an internal fuse accessible for user replacement. However, there are a few fixes you can try to address the power issue:
- Check the power supply: Ensure that the dishwasher is securely plugged into a functioning power outlet. If possible, try plugging another appliance into the same outlet to verify that it is providing power.
- Reset the circuit breaker: Locate the circuit breaker in your home's electrical panel that corresponds to the dishwasher. Turn the breaker off, wait for a few minutes, and then turn it back on. This can help reset the electrical connection.
- Check the door latch: Make sure the dishwasher door is closing properly and that the door latch is engaged. If the door is not fully closed or the latch is not engaged, the dishwasher may not receive power.
- Examine the control panel: Inspect the control panel for any signs of damage or malfunction. Look for loose or disconnected wires or any visible issues. If you notice any problems, it may require professional service or replacement of the control panel.

Miele dishwasher G 5023 SC has fault code F 179 can't find any answers on line can anyone help. It washes dishes ok. Fault appears at end of programme am thinking drain hose?
The F179 fault code on a Miele dishwasher usually indicates an issue with the drainage system. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
- Check the Drain Hose: Start by inspecting the drain hose for any kinks, clogs, or blockages. Ensure that the hose is properly connected and not damaged in any way. If you find any issues, clear the blockage or replace the hose if necessary.
- Clean the Filters: Remove and clean the filters inside the dishwasher. Accumulated debris in the filters can hinder proper drainage. Rinse the filters under running water to remove any food particles or residue.
- Check the Drain Pump: The drain pump is responsible for removing water from the dishwasher during the drain cycle. Make sure the drain pump is free of any obstructions. You can access the drain pump by removing the bottom panel of the dishwasher. If you find any debris or blockage, remove it carefully.
- Ensure Proper Installation: Verify that the dishwasher is installed correctly, including the drainage system. Ensure that the drain hose is properly connected to the drain pipe and that there is no obstruction in the plumbing system.
- Reset the Dishwasher: Try resetting the dishwasher by turning off the power at the circuit breaker for a few minutes. Then, turn the power back on and run a test cycle to see if the fault code clears.
