F24 is no signal from the heater relay. at the start of a cycle the dishwasher runs the drain pump for 30 seconds. it will, at the same time send a power signal to the heater relay. if the computer doesnt see a signal back from the relay, it will stop the cycle and beep. Sometimes this happens almost as soon as you press the start button. Sometimes the relays are just bad, but it is usually caused by a voltage spike, or by using too much detergent. the excess detergent will oversuds the machine, and leak into the bottom pan. the soap will corrode the contacts on the relay and cause the f24 fault. the relay can be accessed by removing the bottom pan of the dishwasher with 4 t20 screws. it requires that the dishwasher be turned on its side.

I had the same F24 issue with a Miele G1430SC free standing dishwasher. The heater relay is a simple mechanical switch and can be very easily removed and inspected. The top of the switch can be removed to allow inspection. If it looks ok and the terminals are not damaged, it is unlikely that this is the cause of the error code. In my case, I replaced the heater relay twice (one purchased of eBay in Germany for £9.99; the other from a broken dishwasher off eBay for £10 - many spare parts!) and the fault remained. A call to Miele revealed that F24 is either the heater relay or the water heater. The former is £49 (from Miele!!!); the latter £350 as Miele says the whole pump assembly needed to be replaced - and there is £120 about to pay on top of this. Clearly, a new dishwasher is better value than purchasing a new pump. I do not know why Miele didn't offer me just the water heater instead of the entire pump assembly.
I purchased a 'spares or repair' dishwasher of eBay for £10 and replaced just the heater. It's held onto the pump assembly with two screws and two metal tabs. This is a fiddly job, but not beyond anyone with the will to do it. There are pipes to remove and plenty of electrical connectors - but they are easy to remove and replace. So far, all is well and the dishwasher is now working perfectly.

Miele 5300SCI Dishwasher with burned controller.

It appears to be from 2009 and for the Australian market, so you may wish to think about a new one. The control board is $189 AUS. If you do wish to replace the board, let Miele do it. They need to diagnose why the board burned. Then you get warranty on the repair and the part.

I have Miele G1472 Dishwasher, it give F24 fault code, i cleaned heater relay contacts , now relay is working ok, but still same error. Some ideas?

F24 is a lack of signal from the heater relay. At the start of a cycle the dishwasher runs the drain pump for 30 seconds. it will, at the same time send a power signal to the heater relay. if the computer doesnt see a signal back from the relay, it will stop the cycle and beep. Sometimes this happens almost as soon as you press the start button. Sometimes the relays are just bad, but it is usually caused by a voltage spike, or by using too much detergent. the excess detergent will oversuds the machine, and leak into the base pan. The relay is located in the base area so you will need to disconnect it from electric, drain and water supply and tip it backwards. Then remove the base and you should be able to find it - have towels to hand just incase there is a lot of water in the base - this is very important take pictures as you go along as diagrams for Miele products are almost impossible to get
