The same error code has appeared on my G1220 today. The manual is not specific about this code (except it states that for code FXX call the service). It seems that no water comes into the washer - have cleaned the water flter but the valve might not work (?) - hard to access it to check. You should phone Miele, that is disgraceful. Tell them you want a factory technician to visit. Whomever you got isn't a 'proper' technician, plus you have expended money for items you didn't need replacing. With my Miele washing machine, the engineer attached his laptop to it to diagnose faults.
The only thing I have found is making sure the salt cover is tight. These machines go through a self test procedure and if sometimes fails, it aborts the program.
F84 Error code Miele\015
As soon as I install the dishwaser I got Error F84\015
Answers :
This problem arises because the water inside the washer cannot get out.\015\012
\015\012Firstly......Make sure the salt cover if screwed on tightly (if you have one).\015\012
\015\012Then remove the filter(s) from bottom of the washer and clean.\015\012
\015\012Remove the drain pump cover and remove the one way valve (a ball bearing in a housing) and clean. Take note of rubber cover direction before pulling it out to clean.\015\012
\015\012Make sure the impeller (visible after you remove drain pump cover) is clean and spins ok. It will have a little resistance as you spin with your finger.\015\012
\015\012Make sure all is cleaned properly and it will all work fine again after replacing it all back in
There is a slide valve in the machine that directs the water to the upper and lower arms. The valve can become plugged or the signal to it can become lost. The machine is not an easy one to repair and you can do more harm than good if you don't know what you are doing. To give you an idea, you have to remove the machine and turn it upside down to work on it.
Hi On that model to save water and energy water is sent to bottom and middle spray arms alternately. This is done via a shutter in the circulation motor. F84 mean this shutter is jammed,Most likely with debris,But is possible motor is faulty The motor will have to be removed be sure

Debris is jammed in the valve for water ejection. It's jammed slightly open. This happened to me and it was a very small piece of plastic from the lip of a tupperware bowl.
