I am missing my installation cd for my Canon EOS rebel xsi camera. I have windows 2007. How do I get my pictures from the camera to my computer?

go to this page, confirm it is taking you to the windows 7 version. previous versions of windows, like Vista, will probably not allow you to transfer photos without first loading this utility.

I have lost my installation Cd for my digital rebel XT (canon) I downloaded the driver from Canon. com but computer will still not find the device?? When I try in Media Center, it shuts down the program???...

Bet you have Vista on your new computer. If so, it's a Windows Vista issue. Go to Canon's website and get and install the updated drivers for your camera. Here's the link (select Drivers and Download, then select Windows Vista, then look for, download, and install the driver for Windows Vista.

And if you end up pulling your hair out further fiddling with Vista, please see the following for a much easier, faster, and less error prone way to download your photos:

My XT will not connect to Vista.

Well, that worked perfectly. Turn on your Rebel XT camera and under Menu then Tools go to Communication and set it to Print/PTP. Thank you to all you very smart people!

Zoom browser ex for Cannon 350 D and Windows Vista

Zoom Browser doens't work on my Windows Vista with my EOS 350 D.
You can use Paint for downloading the pictures, that works on my Laptop. But it takes too much time. It is boring. Canon doesn't do a good job.
