Fog and dew dripping in ref

need more info on vent hole... maybe a picture of exactly where water enters ref..is this a new refrigerator?

The drain in the freezer behind back lower panel
needs opening. You can see it at the bottom of the back panel
underneath the evaporator coils. (The cold coils)
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
When the defrost melts the water it goes down the drain
If the drain is clogged with Ice or ? The defrost water
overflows into the ref. or freezer or on floor
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

Look at the gasket, there must be air leaking into the ref. warm air has more moisture than cold air does.

check drip pan, if it full of water and there is no heater on this model you need to upgrade it with heater under drip pan.
but check if it's not cracked and drain line goes to it and not on the side...

This is usual. In some refrigerators it is designed that way. It will keep the vegetables etc. in the fridge from drying out. Usually this spout is close to the back wall of the fridge. It is designed such that water drips directly to a small hall on the bottom of the fridge. It is important that you don't push the dishes or food in the fridge too far back. Otherwise water will be on you food. This spout should be far back as I mentioned. If, for some reason the water is dripping not close to the back, the spout may have beent damaged or bent. Check to see whether it is OK.

It's likely the door was inadvertently left open, and the cold air passages from the freezer have built up enough ice that the cold air from the freezer has no way to enter the refrigerator. Check the cealing of the refrigerator. If you can see or feel ice in the passages between the freezer and fridge, you can probably solve the problem by finding a safe temporary home for your food, and leaving the refrigerator unplugged overnight.

it may not be working or it is not set to cycle often enough.you can also check for air leaks.a constant air leak will cause a lot more ice to build up.

I bought kenmore refigerator 21 cu.ft. year ago, but recently on top of freeze door side produces ice would you please tell me what's happen and how to prevent.

You have bad Thermistors they sense the temp in the frezzer and the ref section they are about $15 each and the same part #

Gazzo, You are on the right track. I've been finding a lot of compressor failures on these Amana's. It's possible that the overload and relay for the compressor failed, but Im more inclined, from what I've seen, that the compressor is the problem. The compressor is covered under warranty, parts and labor for 5 years. I would call for warranty service...Catriver...post back.
