My did the same thing and it was a transmitter in the tv. Cost me about 175 to replace. It works ok now and has been fixed for about 4 months.
99% of the time this is the power board.
There are way too many guides here on how to get to it and what to look for.
If you don't have the time to dig, replace the whole board:

Bear in mind there is a chance it might not be the power board, though!
I'd test the 5V standby output it should be producing before I order replacement.
