Try pressing #, *, C, *, to get into the simulation mode. To change user settings, try the menu feature. Good luck.

Setting the destination Description


Switches the operations and screens of the machine according to the destination.


Purpose

To be executed after replacing the backup RAM on the main PCB or initializing the backup RAM by running

maintenance item U020, in order to return the setting to the value before replacement or initialization.


Enter Maintenance Mode
Enter "10871087" from keypad, You should now be in maintenance mode.
Enter "252"press "Start / Print" key.
Select your destination from list on the display.
Press "Start / Print" key.
Enter 001 "Start / Print" key to exit to normal display.



Method

Press the start key. The screen for selecting an item is displayed.


Setting

1. Select the destination using the cursor up/down keys. The selected item is displayed in reverse.


Display Description


JAPAN METRIC Metric (Japan) specifications

INCH Inch (North America) specifications

EUROPE METRIC Metric (Europe) specifications

ASIA PACIFIC Metric (Asia Pacific) specifications


2. Press the start key. The setting is set, and the machine automatically returns to the same status as when

the power is turned on.


Completion

To exit this maintenance item without changing the current count, press the stop/clear key. The screen for

selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.

I just replaced all the moving parts in my Sharp AR-M620 copier including the finisher and drum etc...I have the service codes and sub codes to reset the print counters, drums, developers etc but don't...

3) Entering a sub code with the 10-key → START key ON
4) Select an item with the scroll key and the item key.
5) The machine enters the mode corresponding to the selected item.
Press START key to start the simulation operation.

and the sub code, press the CUSTOM SETTINGS key.
* Canceling the simulation mode to return to the normal mode
