Plug the memory stick into the computer and format it. Unplug it then plug it back into the computer, you should have a pop up that asks you what you want to do (open folder view, play and a few other options), you weant to choose Open a Folder View.

You should now have a window open that you can put files into, if not then go to "My Computer" and select it from the available drives.

Now open up the folder with your pictures in it and select all the pictures you want to transfer then press "copy". Go to the memory sticks folder and right click and select "paste" from the right click menu or hit "CTRL+V".

You will get a progress pop up that shows how long the file transfer will take, after it is done...so are you.

If the memory stick is not recognized when plugged in, you way need to load the software that came with the memory stick for its drivers.

Just put the stick in & open where you have your pics stored & either left click on a pic to highlight it, then right click choose "select all" ,then right click again on any pic & choose "copy". Then simply explore "my computer" left click on the stick & choose "paste". Or you can do this pic by pic if you don't want them all.

How can I download pictures from my Internal Memory from my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W100 to my computer?

Two options: If you normally transfer your pictures by connecting your camera to your computer, remove the memory stick from the camera before making the connection.

Alternatively, if you use a card reader to transfer the pictures directly from the memory stick, use the "Copy" command in the "Memory Stick Tool" submenu to copy the pictures from the internal memory to the memory stick. The Memory Stick Tool and the Copy command are described in the "Memory Stick Tool" section of the manual (beginning on page 53 in my copy). If you need a manual, you may download a copy from here.

I want to transfer pictures from my toshiba laptop to a memory stick can you help please thank you

Insert your memory stick to your laptop, if your laptop has a memory stick slot or in the USB slot (if it is supported). If it doesn't have on you need a memory stick card reader. Insert your memory stick on a card reader then insert the card reader into the USB slot.

After that your laptop will prompt you and choose "view folder".

Now go to the folder where your pictures is located and choose the pictures you want to transfer and then right click on it and click "copy".

Go back to the folder of your memory stick, right click and then click "paste".

That should do it.

I have transfered some pictures from my memory stick but i have a problem with transferring pictures from the internal memory to my memory stick.

Please clarify: from where to where did you transfer and you wish to transfer? Are you using a USB cable from the camera to the computer? Do you mean the memory card that fits inside the camera?

If you mean transfer photos from the camera via the computer to a memory stick, then the problem may be solved in two steps: First download the photos to your computer. Then from the computer to the stick.

No space left on memory stick.

Hello Sir\Madam,
Most digital cameras do have an internal memory which may be minimal or too small to store your pictures or videos, because of this memory stick/card are always good for storing pictures and videos due to the fact that it has enough spaces to store you data. And you can easily transfer your picture from your camera to your personal computer by using the USB cable that came with your camera. As soon as u connect it to your computer, it will detect it and automatically install the driver that will make the connection to work well, or better still install first on to your system the software that came with your camera for easy connection of your camera to your computer, then on the camera, select "Mass Storage" from the USB connection mode, automatically your memory stick or card will be detected on your computer and you can them open the folder where all your pictures is stored to retrieve then to your computer. If you have any problem with this, don't hesitate to inform me back

How do I download pictures from photo gallery in windows vista to a memory stick

First, you need to connect the memory stick into the computer. Make sure that the computer could detect it.

Next, open the "Computer" icon on your Desktop and see what is the drive letter assigned to the memory stick (i.e. E: F: G:).

Then go to the photo gallery, right-click the picture > Send To > select the drive letter.

The picture should be transferred to the memory stick after that.

ANOTHER WAY:

1. Double-click the drive letter that's assigned to the memory stick and a window should come up.

2. Go to the photo gallery > right-click the picture > copy

3. Open the window for the memory > right-click the window > paste.

The picture should be transferred.

ANOTHER WAY:

Just simply drag and drop the pictures to the memory window.

Have a new sony dsc-w120 cyber shot camera. first digital camera and have no clue. also have memory stick duo. can i transfer pictures directly from the camera to my mac computer using usb...

OK,
Camera has small inbuilt memory that can store few pictures. You can copy these photos in memory stick by inserting memory stick in camera, go to Menu >> Copy >> Yes.
Memory stick stores many photos depends on its size and let memory stick in camera, hook it with computer and transfer photos from memory card.
Thanks.

Transferring photo from computer to memory stick

Many cameras will not let you write to the card. Try using a card reader, which will make the memory card appear to the computer as a separate hard drive.
