Why does my Acer PD525 projector shut down after just 10 or 15 minutes from being turned on. The bulb is new (referbished). I thought I had a bad bulb so I replaced it with another one and same thing.

you can extend the display to the projector through desktop settings

Same thing happen to mine..Power supply went bad and these is not one to be found anywhere. Peace of JUNK

Your projector need replacement of lamp unit if you don't want yet you just reset the lamp counter

procedure:
Power on projector
press MENU key
Press right arrow key to select Option
Press down arrow key to select lamp Hours
Press and hold down the ENTER key 5 second (lamp hour counter show red)
press POWER button to turns off the projector
now you power on your projector and no error displaed and no itself turn off after 15 minutes
