most common problem is cable.
try console with another hdmi cable at the same time try to connect your other device like pc...etc...with hdmi port of your tv and confirm the tv is ok and all the settings under the video menu,
Try this: Power off the ps3 (red light) then hold down the power button until you hear 2 beeps and let go. that should work, you just needed to reset the ps3 to work on your tv.
Here are a couple of things to try. Go into the menu and make sure that you have the "ANTENNA" selected instead of "CABLE". Also make sure that the channel that you are using (3 or 4) is programmed into the memory of the tv. If not, use "auto program" in the menu to program the channels.
These newer tv's are not the same as older tv's. If none of that works, put a antenna amp on the output of the nintendo and then plug it into the tv. This should fix it.
You need to change the resolution output on your PS3 to match the capabilities of your TV. If your TV is not HD you can't leave the PS3's video output on HD. SCART is for european television connections. Have you tried using component cables? Have you tried changing your tv's source to Video 1 or Component 1 or HDMI or anything that might work? Good luck!!
ok what channel is it on if it is an old tv put it on channel 3 if not try pressing input on your remote it will say "video 1" "video 2" then "front' then normal tv it should work on one of the settings
it sounds like there is a problem with either the output on the PS3 or the input on the circuit board of the TV. I would try a reset on the PS3 first. Also make sure that there are no other video or audio cords plugged into the PS3 because this will cause the PS3 not to send the signal via the HDMI.
