Re: black "tail" lines after every sentence and graphic...
Same thing with my Envision 22" LCD. I tightened the VGA cable @ the CPU. All fixed.!! Check cable at both monitor and CPU. Replace cable. Check video card in motherboard. Try DVI cable if you have the connections. Good luck

First, you need to verify if the dot is cause by faulty graphics chip/card or LCD/LED. To do this use external monitor, if you cant see dot on your external monitor then you have faulty LCD/LED if you see dot like in your laptop the you have graphics chip/card problem.
I would say your Graphics Adapter is gone. Have you removed the HDD and tested it? Has it been Cleaned? Fan? vents? Heatsink? Overheating? If the graphics adapter is gone it's a death sentence in a laptop. You can try replacing the Thermal Paste and cleaning the Laptop out. But it may be to late.
This sometimes occurs when the machine gets too hot. If your graphics card is too hot, its performance will suffer. Check the fan speeds/ temperatures and see if that helps.
wrong guy to ask but i'll try 4 u .. dogs bark ..So the most basic sentence contains a subject and a verb. We begin to
diagram a sentence by drawing a base line beneath the subject and the
verb. We separate the two by a vertical line that extends through the
base line. .. did this help ??
It seems that you need to use the latest driver for the graphic card.
You can do that through visiting the manufacture's website, choose your laptop model, OS, look for video (vga) driver, and download it.
Please tell us your results Good Luck
Check that the pc to monitor vga lead is not loose at both ends, check your graphics drivers are upto date, although it could well be a monitor fault and replacment required, as don't think they are worth reparing these days
