Blue Shadowing I, too, have blue shadowing on subtitles, images, and basically everything. Upon reading lots of Internet solutions, they all seem to think it is a convergence problem? The television is about 6-7 years old. I'm seeing a cheap, easy fix (aren't we all). Thanks.

Ur tv have convergence problems,it dead.Require 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors replaced on the convergence board.The shop will cost u $300-350 for parts and labors.

Hi , it seems you are experimenting a light engine problem.Here's how your tv works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLLHnQ4y-wo Basically there's 3 LCD chips that create the colors and image by blending together.When these chips start to melt you will get those blue spots, pixilation even vertical lines.You will need to replace the light engine. Have a blessed one!

yeah that happens with lcd projectors, try cleaning the lcd.

If you have a new hard drive,it must be formatted and the OS must be reinstalled upon it. You are getting this error because there is no OS on it currently, according to what you are telling us here.

The Blue CRT is bad.

ITS A 2003 HD MODEL,REPAIRING WOULD COST 250.00-350.00 WHICH SEEMS A LOT BETTER THEN BUYING A NEW TV. I RECOMMEND THE HIGHER REPAIR AND GET THE ORIGINAL MITSUBISHI IC'S.

You can do this in your BIOS settings. When you reboot the computer, look for a message that states what key on the keyboard to press to enter BIOS settings. Usually DELETE key, F1 or F2 key. Look for advance settings tab in BIOS menu. You will see it under there.

I have blue ghosts/shadowing at the top of the screen.

YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE CONVERGENCE IC'S THERE IS ONLY ONE BAD BUT IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU REPLACE BOTH.

Has a shadowing problem where everything on the screen was shadowing to the right. Did basic troubleshooting techniques and found that it was due to a loose connection to the computer. You may want to check this if resetting to factory settings doesn't help.
