The Copier Scanner is failing to initialize or find home position. The printer will have to have the Scanner replaced by an Authorized Hewlett Packard repair facility. The printer may at times "freeze" or "hang".

The product has experienced an internal embedded software error.
Turn off the power by using the power switch, wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn on the power and wait for the product to initialize. If the error persists, contact HP. See www.hp.com/support/ljm1522 or the support flyer that came in the product box.
In theory it can, but it might requiere a configuration if the switch. I dont recommend any conection than directly to the pc by usb or using with a network cable to the switch or router
This means that a specific cartridge has an e-label error. The solution is to: 1.Reinstall the print cartridge. 2.Turn off and then turn on the printer. 3.If the problem is not solved, replace the cartridge.
