Simple. Load the Apple System start-up disc first while the computer is running. You should see its icon on on the screen. Then select restart from the Apple Menu on the top left of the screen. Hold down the C key as it reboots. You will now boot into the start-up disc. This method also applies to Disc Warrior and other tools. Alternately, with the computer already running, insert the Apple System start-up disc then go to System Preferences also under the Apple menu, Under the start-up disc icon, select your apple system icon and restart.
Third alternative. With the computer running insert Apple System start-up disc. Restart the computer. Before the chime, press and hold the option key, left-hand bottom side of the keyboard to the left of the Apple (Command) key. You will see your system HD icon and the screen as well as your Apple System disc. Click on the System Disc and that will boot the machine.
Try taking the game from the disc, putting it on your desktop, then load it onto daemon tools and run from there,it could be a faulty disc drive,if not,it could be a faulty disc, try cleaning it,or for 2-3 pounds you could get it re-lasered in any decent games shop ;)
Game Discs will not start automatically. You must start disc games from the Disc Channel on the Wii Menu screen. Eject the Game Disc, and turn the power OFF and then ON. Reinsert the disc and try playing the game again.Check to be sure that the Game Disc is clean and in good condition. If dirty, wipe with a soft cloth, from the center to the outside. Do not wipe with a circular motion. You can also try using the Wii Lens Cleaning Kit (sold separately) to clean the internal lens.
Your disc drive then doesn't have the option for an automatic startup enabled when a disc is inserted. There are a few other ways then to make it "go." If you are using a windows operating system, click on start then on run. In the box that pops up type D: and hit enter. That will start up your disc. You can also select from the start menu, "my computer" and from that page select D: as well.
Check your settings to see if the auto start feature is turned on or not. Also, how long have you let the player continue to attempt to read the disc, maybe try waiting a little longer if you haven't already. Sometimes the Playstation takes a while to load and read disc's. Hope you find this of some help, I hope that it's not an issue where you need to replace the disc drive itself. Try setting it to auto start the disc and see if that helps first. If this doesn't help right me back and I will try to assist you further.
All players need cleaned from time totime. Do NOT try to clean it with anything other than a CD / DVD lens cleaner. They are available almost everywhere that sellsBlank media. It will clean the lens without scratching or smearing it.
