My Calypso Kenmore Elite washer will not fill or drain. We cleaned out the pump and all hoses already and thought the problem was solved. However, I can see from the rear of the machine that there is water in the bottom tub reservoir but it does not move into the "wash tub" or drain. Could this mean my pump motor is not working and needs to be replaced?

If your Kenmore Elite 100 series washing machine is filling with water for the wash cycle but immediately draining without actually washing the clothes, there could be a few potential causes:
1. Faulty or clogged water level pressure switch: The water level pressure switch is responsible for sensing the water level in the tub and signaling the washer to stop filling once the appropriate level is reached. If this switch is faulty or clogged, it may be signaling the washer to drain the water immediately. You may need to replace the pressure switch or clean the hose that connects it to the tub.
2. Clogged drain hose or pump filter: A clogged drain hose or pump filter can prevent the washer from properly draining the water, causing it to immediately drain as soon as it fills. Check for any clogs or blockages in the drain hose or pump filter and clear them if necessary.
3. Broken or faulty drain pump: If the drain pump is broken or not functioning properly, it may not be able to properly drain the water from the washer, causing it to immediately drain. You may need to replace the drain pump if it is broken.
4. Malfunctioning control board: In rare cases, a malfunctioning control board may be causing the washer to immediately drain after filling. If none of the above solutions work, it may be worth having a professional technician inspect and potentially replace the control board.

Whirl Pool Cabrio LD Temp fix pt.2. animal131 ... How to override an error code on the Whirlpool Cabrio washer - Duration: 3:08. Whirlpool ...
I followed the advice from one of your postings about the Calypso pump, leaning the washer back and removing the bottom access panel. (Be sure to disconnect AC power first!!!). Heeding the warning about "lots of water" -maybe 10-15 gallons!!!-I removed the back access panel and loosened the drain hose, then I put a pie plate beneath it to pool the H2O as it rushed out, cranked up the shop vac undid the hose and let it rip. I filled my shop vac 3 times!). Then I tipped the washer back removed the the pump which is on the right, opened it up and cleaned out the impeller. It works like a champ now. Thank you for your help!!
LD means long drain and according to the manual your drain hose could be clogged or kinked.
LF means long fill. check your water hoses and the screens to make sure they are not clogged. Had that happen to me once and i had to change the hoses. several months later same thing happened and it was the motor pump part # 8054968, this you can fix yourself.
i assume that the warer is turn on at the warer valves if so then do you have voltage at the water valve if not then water pressure switch could be bad or main control board could be bad
