you dont need a modem driver ...just the driver of your network card ...and to activate the modem from bios....
also restoring bios to factory ( optimal default setting ) will fix this ...anyway ...
I could not find the 390 model specifically, it seems there is possibly more to the model information that is needed. However, you can go to the emachines website and dowload drivers if you have the full model information and internet access.
there could one of two things wrong with the volume, 1, the volume control my need a clean or replacing, 2, the audio pcb has packed up and if you cant get it repaired you will need a new one fitted..hope this helps you.
