My bixolon samsung srp 350plus printer will not feed paper when i go to run the test on it it just cuts the top of the paper then paper out light comes on any ideas?

No there is no reset for this device. Make sure your paper is in properly and ink and that the fuse is good. The operators manual does not give any indication about what to look for if the error light is on.
Here's what the manual states about the paper light: This light indicates the near end of the paper roll. Install a new paper roll and the printer will continue printing. When the light blinks, it indicates the self-test printing standby state or macro execution Standby state when the macro execution command is used.
Most likely it is a quality issue with the label you are printing on. As long as the image is printed good initially onto the media(thermal paper), the printer/software portion of it is done.
Thermal paper has a special coating and protective layer to prevent it from fading from exposure to heat, including light. But if the coating is bad then it'll show problesm like you describe
each printer manufacturer has their own ethernet configuration option for their products. Look it up on their website's FAQ if not helpful contact their tech support.
This was originally a Samsung printer, and they had plans to release a Linux driver. However after some corporate games it's now owned by Bixolon, and everything Linux has been axed.
