I have the same problem, I think the idea is that you buy a new printer, it's called designed obsolesence. I would suggest taking a large turd in the printer, wrapping carefully and then posting it the CEO of lexmark, i think that is what i will do with mine.

Hello.
I have had a look at the lexmark technical support pages and they suggest ot use windows vista drivers for windows 7 customers. Problem is there is no vista driver provided. The latest XP Driver is available from this link below, it may or may not work. http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=product&linkSelected=node0&locale=EN&userlocale=EN_US#1

Are you having issues with lxbkpswx.exe for your model? If you have a firewall enabled on your computer, make sure to allow the lxbkpswx.exe in the program permission. You can also try to update the Lexmark X1150 printer software by visiting the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/dPIEij. Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen.

Hpzprl01.exe missing during installation.
1) Run the driver installation normally and let the error occurs;
2) Connected the Printer to USB;
3) Turned on the Printer;
4) Windows XP recognize the Printer and open the Installation Procedure;
5) Change to find the install programs manually;
6) Find the file C:/Temp/HP_WebRelease/;
7) The installation perform almost good until ask for file hlpmom12.dll, if you are using language different than English, in my case I was using Brazilian Portuguese;
8) Open the Explorer and find the missing file inside C:/Temp/HP_Release/;
9) Inform the full path for the missing hlpmom12.dll;
10) Then the installation completes successfully.

Computer cannot find LXBKPSWX.exe
hi and welcome to fixya. this is one of your printer drivers. just reinstall your lexmark printer with your cd and it should install this driver. if by chance it doesn't your disk may be dirty , scratched or corrupt. not to worry. just go to lexmark.com and under drivers and downloads/ driver finder. in the first drop box type in... lexmark and your model. then your os. download the driver for your setup. if you need a manual you can download it here also.
