Fan for convection oven not working

My range is less than 2 years old and the fan for the convection option is not working (display shows fan turning). The oven heats up however the fan does not turn. This first happened when I tried the convection broil option.
Any ideas??

    Same problem. Oven works,convection fan does not spin although display indicates it is on.

    I have a double convection ge profile free standing range. The convection fan does not come on. It heats just fine. The fan indicator indicates that it is on but no movement at all. Also, I have a self clean option and the locking mechanism does not move. Lastly, how hard is it to change a burner in a ceran top stove?

Maybe you could throw out the oven and buy a new fridge

Oven door locked
ah, you lucky guy. You can try a hard reset by unplugging the range for a good 1/2 hour, then plug back in. Unfortunutely this probably won't work, as these clock/timers are notorious for only lasting a few years. You have to blow $150+ and replace the clock/timer. Note: A hair dryer will help you get the face off the old one to put onto the new one.

GE profile oven will not heat up past 100 degrees. The burners work. The broiler works. The oven is less than 5 years old. The convection and roast options are not working either.
You need a new control panel circuit board.

Easy to replace.

Convection fan doesn't turn on
Found this site cuz I had the same problem- as your purchase was 4 years ago- not sure that I'll help you... But help others who are stumped... I pushed the QuickBake button to preheat then to turn the fan on I pressed it again... ( actually a couple times messing with it...) Once it gave me a " double beep" and sometimes just a single beep but none the less, the fan turned ON!!! Good luck!

First,
1.What is the Model Number and the year of your wall oven?
2.Did the oven light up and display with any error codes?
3. Did you try to turn the breaker off for 5 minutes to see if this will reset the system?

Perhaps the heating element is failing and may need to be replaced.
I will be able to better assist you when you reply with this information.

if the fan is cheaper you can replace it your self if it was making a noise id say thats where the trouble was
