I have a Competence B 6139-4-m electric oven. the door does not close properly, have tried cleaning it as intruction manual suggests, the heat escaping from the oven has scorched my cupboards

the fault is unlikely to be the actual oven unit so therefore in order of least expense the things to check are:- the door seal being complete, the hinges not having been forced, the door not being buckled, self adhesive universal seals are available online from *spares etc. Hinges are easy to remove from the cooker and then can be unscrewed from the door and replaced. if it's the door I would have to say that's less likely to be available for a sensible price.

Model NN-6603A unit won't heat

If the microwave oven is 7 years old or less, the cause is a bad magnetron, or the inverter board is malfunctioning, due to cost in parts and labour cheaper to replace.

Lost manual for self cleaninf Maytag oven. It's about 8-10 years old.

My answer is to NOT use that feature, as generally after most people use that :Feature" straight after the oven faults, you see that "Cleaning" mode simply heats the oven up wayyy up to like 900 degrees up, and after this the temperature sensors generally "Go" so my advice is ... use elbow grease and save a lot of possible problems, especially with a 8 - 10 yo unit.

Samsung microwave -the electrical panel runs, the

it sounds like it one of your micro-switches inside that control the power to the doors, if one of the switches is bad, it would cut the power , the panenl will light, the turn table will work, the fan will turn on , but you will not get any heat at all, micro-switches run depending onthe unit from 5-10 bucks, when you open the unit you will see the one that is bad, is usually bent or the connector might be burn or melt, good luck..!

Oven will not heat after self cleaning

We used the self cleaning feature on our RBS305 Built In Electric oven and afterwards it would not heat. replaced the Fuse-Thermal part Nr 9759243 (which is the new part number. (Shown as Nr 37 on the Parts list for the oven parts). Cut all Power to the oven off and it was very easy to pull oven out with help of my wife. Removed back, bought a new part for 49.55 plus tax. Put in new part, replaced back and oven works like new. I am a 73 year old senior so when I say it is fairly easy to replace you know it is. Hope this helps someone

Wont Heat at all

sounds like you have a bad wire connection someplace in the oven.

Oven over heats and gives a 1D11 fault

I have a similar unit with a similar problem, and found the Maytag troubleshooting manual online. Code 1d11 means the the unit reached 600 degrees (not supposed to get that hot). Basically, it had a runaway temperature. The computer does not know why it happened, so it just tells you that it happened by showing code 1d11. But you can tell what went wrong by your description of the problem: the broiler element was turned on without any command from you. Which means the swithc/relay in the electronic control unit is bad. I am guessing it was fried when you ran the oven through the self-cleaning phase (should not get fried with this little of heat--it was defective to begin with). Mine just went bad after 4 years of use. You can get an electronic control unit for this unit for around $170 at Sears online parts store. Notice that Maytag has replaced the old part number for this electronic control unit with a new one, which probably means they had a design flaw and have fixed it.
