Machine will not spin and displays FP fault - Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer

I did see where some F and E code can be corrected by unplugging the washer for more than a minute and plug back in. FP has to do with the washer not draining correctly.

The 1.6amp fuse on the board would be blown along with the mosfet's that drive the water valves, not an easy task to replace mosfet's.
Best to get a new motor controller board,
Quote the 6 digit part number under the bar code to get the right part.

Try looking online for another manual. Or call anyone who sells your machine. Me thinks the solution is simple, but you need to talk to any seller of your machine, and soon.

Remove pump and check the pump for any foreign objects which is stopping the impellor from turning.

The problem is pump is either broke or there maybe something is caught up in the impellor, easy to fix, remove front cover undo spring for door seal unplug electrics, remove both hoses on pump and undo bracket, then check pump, had same problem myself it was an elastic band and coins got it fixed myself saved a fortune hope this helps.

The FP code just means that your filter is clogged or has a hair doo-dad or something in it that needs to come out. There are Guys on YouTube that will show you how to do that, step by step, just google Whirlpool AWM8103/1 fault codes to see them. Tip* Have a Large but Shallow pan or container of some sort ready to catch the water that the filter will be holding in it's line because it will come rushing out when you open the filter housing! Towels will be useful. Merry Christmas!

Pump removal: power off, remove cover, locate pump, (attached to other end of drain pipe).undo 2 wiring connections, 2 hose connections, and pump mounting screws. Remove pump chamber - some are held in with screws, others clip into place. Check for foreign objects round the impeller. If pump chamber is clear, may be a fault with the pump motor - in which case, replace.

i have the same fault on the whirlpool AWM8163/3 it indicates a drainage problem so check the filter and pump housing and all the pipes for blockage, even the drain pipe, i have done all that but the problem still exists, I'm gunna have another crack at it now and i'll let you know how i get on
