Sd card slot on computer wont take sd card anymore

You will see the word "SD" and an amount of storage on a SD card. On sim you wont find anything technical.

I have the same issue. I tried unlocking it. It doesn't go in, and I'm using the same SD card I had inserted before. There's nothing broken inside the slot. I need help...

You just need to get the SD card with the photos and put it into the SD card slot in the computer. A file will appear with all your photos!

Sometimes it happens that your slot doesn't work you can use a another option like Olympus LS-10 digital recorder as a card reader for accessing the data. Insert the SD card in your LS-10 digital recorder then connect the recorder to the computer with a USB cord then it will show you two options for the onboard storage inherent and one for the SD-Card. Select first photoshop elements to read the card and then Windows Live photo Gallery to view and copy your photos.

plug it into your pc/laptop via sd card slot (adapter needed if its a micro sd) or through a usb memory card reader. open folder to view files, then copy and paste/drag and drop the files you want into a folder on your desktop.

Are you sure the card is being inserted properly? If it's wrong, it won't go in all the way.

be more clear ....how come it doesn't fit ...maybe it is fitting but not work ??I don't thing it is possible to not fit in the same spot ...if it doesn't work ..see that it has a locking device on it ...its just a little slide button on the side...
also look carefully maybe its damaged physically...or maybe the slot has something inside...like a strange object or so .... .....or you just used another card...or if now seams smaller...it used to have an adapter for it ...

You have install the correct Driver for the inbuilt card reader. This must have been shipped with your Laptop driver cd.

1. You need to install your camera software on your new computer.
2. Restart computer.
3. Inset SD card.
4. Goto start open My Computer.
5. Look for SD card should see it under removable disk.
6. If still not working send MSG & we will go Further.
   

try the 4gb card in a camera or phone. If the card is formatted in fat, it wont be recognized as the fat has a gb limit under 4 I believe. May want to reformat it in a camera or phone with fat32
