Is the white bar running vertical or horizontal on the page, and is it consistently the same or is it sporadic?

I just replaced the toner on my Xerox copier 2 weeks ago. Most of my copies now still showing white lines running vertical though them. Some copies do come out OK though. What is the problem?

Most likely cleaning the scanner and laser will solve your problem.
When the scan mirrors and the laser window and mirrors are dirty that will cause light copies.
If it is an older analogue machine, there are charge and transfer wires that would also need to be cleaned. If it gets worse the longer you run the machine then the charge and transfer wires are most likely the problem
What model is the machine? I can help you in more detail if I knew that.
Light copies should be pretty easy to resolve.

Vertical line appears in scans using the ADF, but not with copies

happened to me after i fed a page with not-too-hard whiteout on it. the feeder makes the page run through a different piece of glass and i just had to clean it.

Running out of color ink even though we dont use the color

It's probably not running out but drying up. Make a color copy from time to time to keep the ink fluid.

A bar code stripe on the right side of the copy.

i'm not sure if you're talking about a solid black band or a bunch of little stripes running down page. does it happen when you run an internal report or only on copies? if its a black solid band, check and make sure the bluish colored tab on top of the drum is all the way to the left side. if its a group of fine lines, depending on whether it happens on internal reports or not, it could be the drum is going bad or you may have a bad scanner. write back with a little more info if this suggestion doesn't work.

good luck,

Light copies

You enter the buttons in this order. " menu" " pound" 1934, the machine will come up with a T or tech on the screen, you have to then press the machine settings button then scroll to maintenance, press enter, go to adjust shading, place 5 white pirces of paper on the glass and run the procedure.
I doubt though that without removing and thoroughly cleaning the scanner that it will work properly. Those mirrors and the glass haze up badly and need to be cleaned to clear up copy quality.
to remove from tech mode once you do shading. Just POPO the machine. ( Power Off Power On )

Benq 7220 display wrong color

It sounds a lot like a bad color wheel if it was a DLP. IF it is a LCD then i would say one of the LCD panels is bad or possibly a connection problem that drives the panel or the connection that hooks up to the projector is suspect. Let me know if that helped you at all.It is strange that the bottom shows white though. Jay
