if it has sound but no picture, check this.. shine a strong flash light on the screen in various angles, you may see some signs of a picture.
but it most likely sounds like the CCFL inverter has gone bad..
usually bad caps..

tried to look at the darkened room if their is a white screen, it could be the t-con board. if totally black screen, it could be the inverter board was busted or the screen back light itself.
While it is playing, sound that is, try holding a flash light right up next to the sceen, preferably in a dark room, and see if you have any picture. You really have to focus on it and watch closely. If you can see any picture, you probably have a bad inverter. The inverter lights the back lights in the panel to illuminate the picture. The flash light basically does the same thing from the front. The inverter is the board on the far right with several of the same kind of wires disapearing down the side. Thanks. Let me know what you find.
disconnect the av cables and clean the caseing around them and on the back of the 360 try that and see if that works also is there any red lights on the system? if so please advise.
