Good day,
Warm is normal, hot is not. There is an anti-sweat heater between the doors.
First, check the condenser cooling fan motor which is located behind the bottom rear panel of the machine. Not running, or running slowly is a common cause for this problem.
Extremely dirty condenser is the other obvious problem.
This is all based on a machine where both compartments are cooling properly or near properly.

Overheated can not get car to start

Hi,
Let it cool down fully before trying.
Try to find out why it overheated & get water back into it when you know why it came out in the first place.
Make sure you've got gas in it.
Try to start it.
The fuel may have vapourised if the engine was really, really hot, so you'll need to crank it over long-enough to pump fuel up all the way from the tank.
Best of luck.

My 2010 dodge journey is running hot and the heater is blowing cold air. Temp goes back down to normal while driving. No indicator lights r on. Is it the thermostat or heater core?

Most likely neither is the problem, to verify the heater core is ok go under the hood and touch the heater core coolant supply hoses (hot engine) one will be really hot and one a little cooler, if this is the case the heater core is ok and you have another problem, that other problem is most likely a failed part or parts called the air temperature control blend door motor or door is defective. Also I doubt the engine is overheating, it gets hotter while sitting in traffic because the electric fan that cools the engine only comes on at about 225 degrees Fahrenheit. If you had an overheat condition the check engine light would also come on to alert you of the overheating condition.

Air conditioner blowing hot air and car overheating when idle

Air conditioning is one area where the owner generally is not qualified or equipped to perform the necessary repairs. If you are overheating and the ac isn't cooling I would check the condenser (radiator in front of the engine radiator) and made sure it's not obstructed. Also make sure that the electric fan comes on when you engage the A/C. Beyond that there isn't much you really can do except have an professional run a diagnostics on the system.

My ps3 turn off by itself while Im playing a game

The auto shut-off will usually cause this because of overheating. Make sure the area around the PS3 is well ventilated and feel the PS3 right after it happens. If its really hot to the touch, try getting a cooling device.

2 fan motors not cooling the radiator and still overheating

If there was alot of debris, like you stated, it could have clogged the water pump. If you think about it, there really isn't all that much to a cooling system. Radiator, fan, thermostat, and water pump. These are the main components and by process of elimination, I would suspect the water pump. Hope this helps and best wishes.

My GE side by side throws a LOT of heat

It might be low on refrigerant, this is one cause of overheating on the compressor, and condenser. This condition will not affect cooling tho, unless it is really low. As far as making fire, it wont because compressors have a breaker switch that go off when they get too hot.

1997 cadillac eldorado running hot

Make sure you put in the correct temp thermostat. GM usually has 2. A low temp and a high temp. Most shops will give ya the high temp just because thats usually what the book calls for. you might want to try a low temp. Also, sometimes, when a car runs hot and everything has been repaired....well, almost everything......it might be the head gaskets. And those my friend are no easy task. But..somewhere to start. have your cooling system pressure tested. Only way to really know for sure. Oh..also make sure your fan is working!!!! You might have a faulty fan switch.

Overheating

If you did indeed overheat the engine to the point that is stuck, you would probably know it by the antifreeze being poured all over the ground. The bike would be really hot just sitting on it. It would smell like antifreeze and just smell hot.. I know, smell hot? but an engine that has been ran to hot has a pretty distinctive hot smell... It doesnt sound like an overheating situation if none of the above happened. A bike that is overheating will begin to loose power before it stops. LIke lacuna said, everything inside of the engine will start to expand from the heat and the piston will stick in the cylinder. Most of the time when this happens, the bike will cool off and restart. But, usually with problems. Warped or cracked head, cracked block, broken piston rings. These engines are aluminum and dont like to be overheated and warp really easy. If the engine is really hot, it will not turn over until it cools down enough. Im not saying it couldnt have overheated and then restarted without any problems, its happened before, but just not likely. But, if this is the case, take lacunas advice and change all of the fluids. Your oil will be nasty. Maybe get ahold of the previous owner and see if it has had any probems. It kinda sounds electrical to me. as long as the above overheating signs didnt happen. If you dont think it was overheating and it happens again, try to push start the bike to see if the engine turns over. even putting the bike in second or third gear just see if you can move the bike back and forth. If nothing else, you'll at least know its not locked up.
