Depending on which type of chat session you are connected to... everyone needs to be in the same chat menu. Sometimes when switching from game chat to party chat you might still be stuck in game chat while others are in private chat or visa versa.

To talk to only players in your game: Press the Guide button, then select Party, Party Options, Chat Channel, and Game Chat.

To talk to only members of the party: Press the Guide button, then select Party, Party Options, Chat Channel, and Party Chat.

To mute an individual: Press the Guide button, then select Party, the player's gamertag, and Mute.

As you said me you can hear the calling party but that party can not hear you it's a simple problem with you are mobile Your mobile mic has some problem with it .You just need to contact you are nearest services center there they will fix you are problem with in a few minutes.Thanks for you are question happy to help.

Try reinstalling the sound driver and also check the volume for the mic.

good morning!! ive been thru this before, try tapping your phone volume while your talking to your party, it shold be seen on your phone screen as earpiece volume than turn it up and when you have the volume where you want it dont forget to tap the set on your phone, another prob i had was some times there is a small protective plastic film on the ear holes on the tooth and one on the mike sometimes, i could hear my party but they couldnt hear me until i discovered that lil peice of plastic. remember your key codes are either 0000 or 1234. good luck m.m.
