No, I was looking for a manual for HP Laserjet 1012 for printing problems. I can't print and don't know if it is a toner issue or something else. Jobs just keep backing up in the print queue...

Sadly, the following HP support page offers about 8 dirrerent possible solutions, some of which you may have tried. You likely will have to try the others to see if they eliminate the problem.
Myself, I would download the HP Print and Scan Doctor just to see if it worked any magic or offered advice. Alternatively, Here is the support page related to printing issues with this printer: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00599279
Run a half test. Put paper in the manual feed tray(tray 1). Send a print job to printer. When the paper gets 3/4 of the way into the printer, open the cover. Pull out the toner cartridge, look down at the sheet inside the printer. Does it have the streak on the left side? If yes...your toner cartridge is bad. If no...replace the fuser.
This is usually a problem with the printer drum. the toner and the drum may be in the same unit on your printer. so replacing the toner should fix the issue.
I ran the hp toolbox "cleaning" mode too and it did not help the problem at all. I still have a dark smear concentrated in the middle of the page, and ghost images repeated lighter all the way down the page.
