We cannot uninstall this all in one printer (HP Officejet v40). Have purchased a new all in one, wanted to get rid of the v40....the XP remove program screen does not give us the option to uninstall. How do we get rid of it ? Thank you !

Go into Windows Explorer and where the program is for the printer, you will find the uninstall part of the program. It's probably listed under drive C:\ programs.

Sounds like your cyan print head is clogged. You can try to get it flowing yourself by rubbing the print head with a wet paper towel. If you press the print head on a dry paper towel you should see three distinct lines of color. If you still don't see the cyan, try letting the print head rest on the wet paper towel on a surface that ink can be cleaned up from or one you don't care about staining. If the cyan still won't flow, you should go back to where you purchased it and return it for a new one.
go to www.hp.com and click on "Support and Drivers". Type in the name of your printer and you can download the drivers onto your new computer so your printer will work.
From what I can see Vista already has the drivers for this printer built in, so if you have installed the Windows XP drivers from CD you may need to remove them first and see how it goes with the standard Vista drivers.
Please note that some functions may not be available as this product is not completely Vista compatible.
