My hp deskjet says there is a paper jam when there is none and will not print

If your printer for any reason reports a paper jam, withput going through the "clearing paper jam" procedure it may not respond to print command. So follow the procedure below:-

Clearing paper jam in a printer is simple almost seven step procedure depending on the printer. Paper jam is the term used to refer to the scenario where your paper fails to come out of the printer during the print process. When you send a document to the printer, normally the printer prints out the document on a paper; then you can pick up your printed copy. When the paper gets stuck in the printer, it is said that paper has jammed in the printer "paper jam".

Even if you are not a technical person, you can conveniently clear paper jams. All you need is to follow the set of procedures outlined below.

Good luck & God bless!

Hi i have a problem during printing is the paper is strucking in the middle of during printing processes the printer modle number is Dell 1710

Hi, the printer manual or the printer itself would have instructions on how to remove paper jams. Also loosen the guides alongside the paper feed a bit to ensure it is not holding onto the paper sides too tightly as this will continue to cause jams.

Paper feed error message. spits it out fast and

Your printer has a fail safe mechanism that pushs the paper that it's processing out to prevent any other jams during the printing process. Your rollers must have something jamming it's movement during printing. You will need to open the printer through the panels on the back, front, and side to ensure that you see the rollers and remove any paper or debrise blocking hitched on the rollers or in the printer. You may also want to ensure that the holders on the sides of the paper tray where the paper comes in are lined up correctly. Also, make sure not to pack the paper tray to capacity. Only use the tray half full.

Regular paper jams and printed images are not straight

hi,
follow these steps:-
  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Inspect the location or tray the printed paper ejects to. If the stuck paper is visible manually remove it.*
  3. Remove all paper trays and any paper that may be stuck between the tray and the printer. If the stuck paper is visible manually remove it.*
  4. Open the printer door that allows you access to the printer ink cartridges or toner and look for any stuck paper. If the stuck paper is visible manually remove it.*
  5. Turn the printer back on. If you continue to receive a printer jam error try repeating the above steps again. If issue still persist and you see no paper that is stuck in the printer it's likely your printer is experiencing another hardware issue and i suggest contacting theprinter manufacturerfor additional assistance and/or repair.
Thanks!

P4350 paper jam error message. Definately no paper jam!!

try to follow the paper path as best as you can, from where the paper is picked up till it comes out, visually do this with the printer off, there should be a sensor (small plastic part that moves a little this tell the printer where the paper is at during the printing process, this sensor is probably stuck. 9 times out of 10 this is the problem.
