I want to install a printer to a computer but don't have the originial disc to do so.

To scan documents for editing and saving as PDF files, you will to install the Lexmark OCR scan software on your computer. The Lexmark scan software is only available in the installation disc (no downloadable version) that came with your printer. If you don't have the disc, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for assistance.

First get the printer ready to hook up but do not hook it up. Second boot up your computer and insert the disc that came with the printer, once the disc is in it will pop up a window, something in the window will say something about setup or install, click on that and follow the step by step installation instructions, at a halfway point through this couple of minute installation, the installation will ask you to hook up the printer, which you should do, and finish the installation, then reboot the computer and you should be ok to take out the disc and finish.

The sensor that sences the top is glass cover is open. You will need to have it repaired.

More than likely it has dust on the laser eye, it will need to be cleaned

If they do not have the ISO you should still be able to download the driver from the Epson support web site, but they may not have the original software extra's that were on the disk. I know for instance you can no longer get Epson PrintCD via legitimate methods only by asking other people to copy it for you - which of course is naughty and we don't condone such things!!
