I have error code number 11in my ricoh fw780 when i saw the service manual it asked me to look into the main switch or the main board please help me if i need to replace the main switch and hou to get it

My copier uses ricoh 320 toner, it is black en white and its displaying error code e 54. what are the reset codes.

- Possible Causes -
· Thermistor short
· Defective ac drive board
· Defective main board
· Fusing harness shorted

To reset code :

1. Turn on the main switch.
2. Enter "71" by using the numeral keys.
3. Press and hold the Clear/Stop key until a dot (·) appears in the top left
corner of the Copy Counter and then release it.
4. Press the Clear/Stop key again and then press the Lighter key.
NOTE: "5" will blink in the Copy Counter to show that the SP mode has
been accessed.
5. Enter the desired SP mode number using the numeral keys.
When the E52, E53,E54 or E55 conditions occur, for safety reason
they cannot be cleared by turning off and on the main switch. The
following procedure must be performed to clear these service call
conditions:
1. Turn on the main switch.
2. Turn DPS 101-1 on and off.
3. Turn the main switch off and on.

The E5 code is the fuser malfunction error.
E52 fusing lamp warm up error.Possible causes thermistor open,heater lamp open,thermofuse open.
E53 fusing lamp overheat.Thermistor in shortcircuit
E55 fusing thermistor open
When service call E5 conditions occur they cannot be cleared by turning OFF/ON the power switch.To reset turn ON the main switch,turn DIP switch 101-1 ON and OFF(the DIP switch is located in rear part under main supply board).,and turn the main switch OFF and ON.

The E codes E1-E7 are displayed in the copy counter.To display both digits of the E code press the ENTER key.When the machine detect E13 condition E1 is displayed in the copy counter.Hold down the enter key and 13 is displayed.
E 11 - Exposure lamp error.In this case check the exposure lamp continuity,the thermofuse is open or power suplly board defective.
E 12 -Exposure lamp error .AC drive defective,main board defective
E 13 - Zero cross signal error.Main control or DC power board defective.
To clear the service code turn OFF/ON the machine.

Infotec 5221 displays a E-5 symbol

E-codes (E1-E7)are displayed im the copy counter.To display both digits of the E code press the Enter key.When service call E5 conditions occur,they cannot be cleared by turning OFF/ON the main switch for safety reasons.Ehe following procedure must be performed to clear these service call condition:
Turn ON the main switch.

I need solution to aficio 200 error code sc322

sc322 is a Laser synchronization error:

Means that the laser synchronization signal cannot be detected by the main scan detector board.
Possible causes:
Poor connection of the interface harness which connects the laser synchronization detector board and the BiCU board.

Laser synchronization detector board out of position or is defective.
BiCU board is defective.

Unfortunately,unit needs service.

Cause for error code sc560 on ricoh ap3850c

H there below is what is stated in the service manual and I suggest to change the power cord before the main PSU (Power Supply Unit)


SC 560 Zero Cross Error

When the power switch is turned on. The machine checks how many Zero-cross signals are generated during 500 ms. If the number of Zero-cross signals is more than 66 or less than 45 and the condition is detected more than 10 times this code is shown.

Cause is electrical noise in the supply from the power cord.
Solution
  • Change to another power wall socket
  • Change power cord
  • Replace main PSU (Power Supply Unit)
