Most have a compression fitting at the solenoid Turn power off (the soleniod may become engerized ) , turn water off, remove fitting compresion ring the is on the tubing that goes into the solenoid with saw or small pipe cutter, turn power on , go to Lowes/Home Depot and get another compression ring (maybe 2 or 3, they are cheap) ,
Turn power off, install new ring on tubing, turn water on ..check for leak, turn power back on.

Water keeps filling in my front load washer and wont stop. had a previous le error and it wouldnt work at all. i blew in the tubing connected to the bottom of the tub to a sensor at the top as someone...

There are three possibilities.
1) The inlet solenoid is worn out. In spite of no supply the water continues to flow. To check this remove the wire connected to inlet solenoid valve & see if there is continuous water supply.
2) Punctured or leaking tube between the bottom of the tub & sensor.
3) In normal use the tube does not get blocked. The problem is the sensor at top, which functions on the air pressure received via tube. Due to repeated use the make/break contacts get carbon deposits & eventually the sensor does not function. The sensor is not repairable. To break the supply to inlet solenoid valve the sensor has to function.

My whirlpool stopped making ice cubes , water dispenser is o.k. and water to ice cube pan (rubber tube) won't stop running (leaking)

You are going to have to check the water solenoid to see if it is operating correctly. The solenoid operates from the AC power through a micro switch on the rotating cam. When the switch operates the solenoid is jerked out and allows water to flow. When the switch opens (timed to fill up the ice tray) spring pressure snaps the solenoid shut blocking the water flow. If the solenoid valve sticks in the open or partially open position, it allows water to leak by.

Water leaking into tub of Maytag la9806

Check the solenoids at the valve. Use a multimeter or ohmmeter to check for continuity. A lack of continuity means a bad solenoid. I'll attach a photo for reference. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Water leaking into tub\when washer is off

One of the water solenoid valves is leaking--to find which one, turn off one external supply line and after waiting a while, does that stop the leak? If not, replace the other solenoid valve. If yes, replace that solenoid valve.

LEAKS WATER WHERE WATER LINE GOES INTO FREEZER.

An easier fix is to redo the connection. Turn off the tap the supplies water to refrigerator, should be on your cold water line under the sink. Remove not on the solenoid valve(blue valve) slide the nut further up the vinyl tubing cut the tubing above the old connection. push the tubing into valve and tighten nut finger tight. turn the tap on a little and check for leaks at the solenoid. If no leaks open tap all the way. If leak tighten nut a little more only until leak stops. then turn tap on all the way.

Leak into washer

The solenoid for the water intake is faulty. It may just have some crud stuck in it. You have two, one for hot and one for cold connected directly to the hoses on the back. You can shut off the cold water supply and see if it still leaks - if it does the hot water solenoid is faulty - if the leak stops then the cold water solenoid is bad.

My dishlex dishwasher overflows

The only part that physically allows water to enter a dishwasher (upon receiving power from the control) is the inlet water-valve. I would test the inlet water-valve located directly where you in-coming water line is connected to.

Shut-off power to the dishwasher and remove the 2 prong connection to the water-valve solenoid (small, black, batter size). Test the solenoid for continuity; if bad, replace the entire inlet water-valve (cost about $20)

Water

Sounds like the water inlet solenoid ie, where the inlet flexible hose connects to, may be leaking. To prove this, close off the external stop tap(s) after use. Then see next day whether any water has entered the tub. If it has, the solenoid valve needs changeing. tip! if its faulty dont risk 'not changeing it' because it may leak FULL BORE & cause a flood sooner or later
