I have 60" projection tv sometimes the picture goes scrambled if you hit beside power switch it comes back on. Sound is there just no picture.

The power supply regulator board has the fault. There ie no repair to this board. You have to replace it as card basis.

nope. it just have a loose connection or what they call cold solder issue. if you can find it and resolder it then you can fix it.

It can be a couple things. Something bad on the power board. Or the vertical output circuit. How long ago did you purchase the television. Your best course of action is to have it serviced.

It seems that your unit has some sort of Thernmal problem or a problem that is shutting down the Power Supply section to the Video side of things.
You need to take the unit to a reputable service centre/man and ask for a firm "Quote" for the work to be done.

replace the lamp only takes few min make sure you get right one for model of tv the LAMP MODEL number will be on OLD LAMP the tv will work and sound will come back hope this helps

Rear projection hdtv, most likely damaged tubes. Don't repair this by your self get a tv repair man to do it before you injure your self.

power supply,safety protection has kicked in

My hdtv component jacks will give a clear pic then pop back and forth into double images. Can anyone help?

If it is a Hitachi 60V500 LCD projection TV, then I would suspect the lamp being the problem.
