Hp laptop how do work wed cam?

its gonna be a software issue because web cams are plug and play . get updated drivers ftom the venders wed page and down load them.

go to device manager, un-install your web cam and re-install with the drivers cd of web cam, also change the port of the cam els the cam may gone
good luck

it may be a format that your media player does not have the codec to view

mine issin't workign either, it says that the webcam had not been dectected. but i DO have a built-in webcam in my laptop, the user guide says ..

go contorl panel and see the option cam then setup it
