My v3r does not work with my pc

just check if you have a slot for the webcam like usb slot then try to check it if your pc will respons on it..but make sure that you install the drivers first before you apply of checking of it..check the connection of cables and plug-in of your cam to pc.

Do you have Motorola tools disk?
if not you can go to motorola.com product support, find V3R, click on the links there to download drivers and follow the directions they give you to install, make sure your phone is not connected till install is finished

check that proper driver is installed, in the device manager that shows excmlatory mark that indicates proper driver not been installed, update the driver it will works

XP doesnt install the right device drivers for the NIC card (LAN card) if you have the origianl Device utilities disk, you can insert it and find those drivers (they will be checked) if no disk, use another pc and go to support.dell.com and enter the tag# locate the networking device drivers and its going to be a Broadcom 47xx driver. if not that try others till it works.

You need the mobile phone tools (software) for that phone. You have to install the driver for the cable and the software for the PC to be able to recognize the phone. Or you can buy a Bluetooth Dongle for your PC that supports File Transfer, pair your phone to the computer, and transfer them that way.

You need motorola phonetools to do this. it is a computer program on CD sold by carriers and motorola for around 20 bucks i think. It allows you to take pictures off the phone, put pictures and ringtones on it and even edit the phonebook and contacts. It is very useful and is worth the money. I make my own ringtones and walpaper with it so i dont have to buy them from my carrier. As long as the cable you have connects from the phone to the PC, you can use that cable. They sell the disk with or without the cable.
