I was hoping I would be able to get some information regasrding the leaking of my 4 yr old Maytag washer. The owners manual does not apply to my current situation. It seems to be coming from underneath the motor, I am not sure that it is called. I have not been able to find a breakdown of the appliance. I seen that there are 2 hoses attached and it is a rounded part. It only leaks in the Drain / Spin Cyle regardless of size of load (including MINI) with clothes or no clothes. Help?
It called a pump, and needs to be replaced IT is the problem should be easy. close IRE bye
What you are describing sounds like the pump.
You can see a parts breakdown by going to sears.com, click on parts, and enter your model number. You can view parts diagram and parts list there.
Post back if you need help.

My washer is a model sav515deww, Afterwashing there is water on the floor.. need info on how to get to look in side or remove cabinet.
i have this same problem. my washer is a maytag performa PAVT910AWW. do you think the pump is the say issue for me. it leaks some washes and other washes it does not.
I just had someone come look at mine for leaking. He said a needed a new seal as well as that the bearings were shot (it makes a ton of noise when it spins). He said it would cost over $200 to fix and I was better off buying a new one.
A noisy spin cycle with leakage and brown cast off when spinning.
I have a SAV5710AWW. I also have the leaking issue. Sometime the water can not be drained out.
