When i open IE 8 a message comes up that says "A program on my computer has corrupted my default search provider for IE" I can close the message and then another box opens to set my default search provider. I can then close that box and everything is fine. This does not create any problem other than it is anoying because it happens every time i open IE 8. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this?

Set the default search provider to Google when you see the message. I then suggest you update all security programs and then run all your security scans in Safe Mode. You are more than likely infected with something.

Am NOT on witter and keep getting messages that i can not stop from coming through.. All for a Jeffery scott? Also this has brought a virus with the twitter messages!

1- If for the PC, and running slow, you need to look at the Ram, and start up programs.
2- This Could be a Virus. This Virus normally corrupts your computer.
3- Run Spybot Search n Destroy and scan your computer and see what comes. up.

If really corrupted, then you need to Reformat.

If you need to do a Reformat. Be sure and do a Back-up First., because you will loose everything. All the 3rd Party programs will have to be re-installed. ie: Quickbook, Turbo Tax, Quicken, Printers, etc.

If you know how to do a back-up, save all your documents, pictures and music. If not take it to a reputable computer shop to take of this. There will be a slight charge, but they will save all your important data.

Cannot open attachments in Yahoo emai.

Hello,

I'm guessing that anyone that is having problems with their Yahoo or Google Email, has recently installed Internet Explorer 8 to their pc.IE8 prevents you from opening your mail, (after you sign in, or if it lets you sign in). This is not an isolated problem, everyone is having the same problem.

You just have to uninstall IE 8, if you have Vista, go to Control Panel, then click on System Maintenance, then, under Windows Updates, click on "View Installed Updates".(Search for IE 8 and uninstall) On Vista, IE 8 is an Installed Update, click on Remove, this will remove the IE 8 Update and convert back to your old version of IE. (Probably IE 7)

If you have XP, IE 8 is classified a Program, therefore, go to Control Panel, then under Programs, click on Uninstall a Program, (Search for IE 8 and uninstall)
